In response to demand caused by the ever increasing use of Indiana defense assets, the City of North Vernon and its business partners have established the shovel-ready, 785-acre, state-certified Muscatatuck Technology Park incorporating the North Vernon Airport and located adjacent to the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center’s (MUTC) Contingency Operating Base (COB) Panther.
Muscatatuck One, or M1, will be a state-of-the-art, multi-use, configurable facility providing leasable office space, high-speed fiber optic, conference facilities, and test-and-evaluation, as well as training spaces to government, industry and academic customers who support MUTC, COB Panther and Camp Atterbury operations. Additional facilities will be built-to-suit for future tenants expanding and investing in regional operations.
The 50,000 square foot, two-story, state-of-the-art M1 Headquarters Facility will allow for year-round controlled tenant access 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Ground traffic access to high bays will be controlled. Planning for air traffic access includes a helipad capable of supporting a UH-60 Black Hawk or similar aircraft.
