Celebrating Women of Jennings County
Who are the prominent and influential women of Jennings County, present and past? We want to know!
The Jennings County 19th Amendment Centennial Celebration Committee is seeking to highlight the prominent and influential women (living OR deceased) who currently live or have lived in Jennings County for any period of time.
To qualify for nomination, the woman must have made a significant impact and contribution to our community in at least one of these 7 areas:
AGRICULTURE
ARTS
BUSINESS/INDUSTRY
CIVICS/GOVERNMENT
EDUCATION
HOME ECONOMICS
SERVICE
To nominate multiple women, fill out one form for each individual.
To submit a nomination form:
1) ONLINE via the link below
2) EMAIL – Download a Word doc version below and email to office@jenningsedc.com
3) MAIL – Pick up a hard-copy Nomination Form from Perfect Day Café, the City of North Vernon Mayor’s Office, the Jennings County Historical Society, the Jennings County Public Library, or the North Vernon Plain Dealer & Sun. Fill out and mail to

The committee would like to recognize 100 of these prominent women in a special 19th Amendment Centennial spread in the Plain Dealer & Sun at the end of October.
We need YOU to help us highlight 100 Jennings County women to celebrate the 100 years of women’s RIGHT to vote!
